Question 1

Instant trade-in or ReLab Market: what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

Instant trade-in means ReLab buys your phone: you come to the store, we inspect it, and you're paid the same day. ReLab Market means ReLab sells your phone to one of its customers for you: you get more, but you wait for a buyer to reserve it — usually a few days. The price screen shows you both amounts side by side, and you choose at that point.

Question 2

How does ReLab Market work, in practice?

Accepted Answer

You publish your listing from your phone in a few minutes: a few yes / no questions about its condition, its IMEI number, two guided photos, and your price. You keep your phone at home. When a buyer reserves it, a courier comes to pick it up, ReLab performs the 55-point inspection, then delivers to the buyer. You're paid by transfer within 48 h after delivery.

Question 3

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. The amount shown is net for you. The courier, the 55-point inspection and delivery to the buyer are free.

Question 4

What is the Certified plan?

Accepted Answer

An option of ReLab Market: you spend fifteen minutes in store having your phone inspected before it goes online, and you leave with it. The listing then carries the "inspected in store" mention, which reassures the buyer and helps it sell faster.

Question 5

What if my phone's condition doesn't match what I declared?

Accepted Answer

The 55-point inspection checks every answer. If it finds a discrepancy, the price is adjusted and you're told before anything is sold. Honestly describing a scratch or a tired battery won't cost you the sale; it's a discrepancy found at inspection that costs you.

Question 6

Which phones are accepted?

Accepted Answer

iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones that turn on, are not locked to an iCloud or Google account, and belong to you. A damaged phone can be sold too: choose the "Worn / Damaged" condition and the price will reflect it.

Question 7

Certified Pre-Owned or refurbished: what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

"Refurbished" is the common term for a pre-owned device that has been restored. At Relab, we say Certified Pre-Owned: every device is tested on 55 points, comes with a 12-month warranty and can be returned within 7 days. The term commits us to specific checks, not just to a restoration.

Question 8

What is a premium pre-owned phone?

Accepted Answer

A premium pre-owned phone is a carefully selected, tested and certified pre-owned device. At Relab, every device goes through more than 55 inspection points to guarantee optimal quality before going on sale.

Question 9

How does Relab's grading system work?

Accepted Answer

Our products are graded by condition: Grade A+ (perfect), Grade A (very good condition), Grade B (good condition), Grade C (fair condition). Each grade is clearly defined and the condition is shown on the product page.

Question 10

How do you test the products?

Accepted Answer

Every device goes through a rigorous check of more than 55 checkpoints: screen, battery, camera, connectivity, buttons, speakers, and much more.

Question 11

What documents are required?

Accepted Answer

For any purchase with credit, you will need a national ID card (CIN), proof of address, your last 3 bank statements and a specimen cheque or RIB certificate.
